Talking Striped Bass with Nick Honachefsky
Nick Honachefsky has covered fishing as a writer and television host for more than two decades. He's a proud New Jersey native, with deep routes to the beaches of the barrier islands where he loves to cast to bluefish and striped bass. He's fished all over the country and abroad, but his world came to screaming halt when Hurricane Sandy devastated the Jersey coast in 2012. He lost his home and all of his possessions, but the angling community came together and helped a brother when he needed it most.
Through his love of fishing, Nick rebuilt his life and is now the host of the Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky, a sportfishing television show that airs on several channels. Listen in as Nick talks about his past and future projects, some of which include articles for Anglers Journal, and how the Tooth Fairy brought him a Jitterbug when he was a boy.
