Intrepid Powerboats 477 Evolution

Meet the new jewel of the Intrepid Powerboats family. The Intrepid 477 Evolution is the company’s most luxurious yacht to date, representing 37 years of powerboat evolution and innovation. This 47’6” sport yacht combines extraordinary levels of luxury, performance, precision and style to create an impression that lingers long after you and your guests have returned to shore.

A spacious cockpit makes the boat versatile for fishing, cruising and entertaining. Fishermen can customizes with optional 40-gallon baitwells, upholstered bench seat that folds into the transom for extra room when casting a line, freshwater washdown to keep the deck clean, and a foam-insulated fish box. Once you’ve snagged your catch of the day, an optional topside summer kitchen makes for easy prep, with a microwave, sink, single-burner stove top and refrigerator/freezer located just behind the helm. Best of all, owners have the option to add an innovative new electric sunshade that extends from the top covers the entire aft cockpit in cooling shade.

Family and friends can all socialize in the 477 Evolution’s oversized bridge deck lounge seating or soak up some rays on the sprawling bow sunpad – Intrepid’s largest sunpad yet. A well-appointed master stateroom and two guest staterooms provide private retreats for all overnight trips. This customizable yacht beautifully showcases stylish interior finishes such as recessed LED lighting, wood veneered cabinetry and wood flooring. Other luxurious below-deck features include a large flat-screen TV, designer bedspreads and shams, deluxe handcrafted pillow-top mattress with bamboo cover, and private head compartment with separate shower, built-in seat and natural light.

One of the “sport yacht’s” most innovative features is its hydraulic hullside swim platform. This extended platform features an integrated ladder and handrails, making it easier than ever to get in and out of the water.

Triple and quad motor configurations maximize the aft cockpit space, with custom engine packages from Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Evinrude or Seven Marine.

The 477 Evolution incorporates Intrepid’s trademark wood-free PVC foam core, further enhanced by an advanced vacuum-bagging and resin infusion molding process. The flagship vessel is also crafted with hand-laid uni- and multi-directional fiberglass fabrics that are tested to withstand the stresses and loads of rough seas. As the ultimate realization of Intrepid’s “One of a kind. One at a time.” design and delivery process, each Intrepid 477 Evolution is put through its paces and personally inspected down to the smallest details (then sanded, buffed and polished by hand before it leaves the factory).
